There are two main qualities required of an extraction hose when dealing with exhaust: flexibility and resistance to the high temperatures that exhaust can generate in various workshop operations. The true challenge is combining these two features in lightweight, high-performance and versatile products, able to be integrated in different extraction systems and always guarantee maximum efficiency.
WORKY has met this challenge with a series of professional flexible exhaust extraction hoses, designed to resist the various temperature levels according to need. Thus the GT series, that includes six exhaust extraction hose models with different features, was conceived. The quality of these products emerges in their ability to combine flexibility, resistance and peerless durability, providing top notch solutions to those who seek maximum exhaust extraction safety and performance. Let's take a closer look at all WORKY products.
GT2 is the exhaust extraction hose par excellence. Available in different diameters from 75 to 200 mm, the hose is made of galvanised rubber able to resist 200° temperature. The rubber framework is reinforced by a nylon spiral that makes the product resistant to crushing while limiting weight to permit hose installation in different extraction systems, both aerial and ground. The compact bending radius that reduces hose space and makes it easy to store when not in use completes the list of GT2 pluses.
Exhaust extraction hoses certified for the maximum required threshold are required when working with temperatures over normal emission averages. For this reason, WORKY has designed three specific projects whose details can be viewed in the section dedicated to exhaust extraction hoses:
• GT5: exhaust hose certified for temperatures up to 500°
• GT7: exhaust hose certified for temperatures up to 700°
• GT1: exhaust hose certified for temperatures up to 1000°
These are fibre-glass hoses with a metallic spiral coated with heat insulation tape to guarantee operator safety during use.
WORKY has included lighter products in its exhaust extraction hose range for extraction system connection and exhaust. Thus the GTP and GTA hoses were conceived: the first is a lightweight hose, coated with a layer of PVC and resistant to temperatures up to 110°; the second is a seamed aluminium hose, resistant to temperatures up to 300°, extensible from 1 to 3 metres and thus perfect for connections. GTP and GTA represent the perfect complement to GT2 and the previously described high temperature hoses.
